This Fremont kitchen remodel transformed a small, enclosed kitchen and separated dining area into a bright, open-concept space designed for everyday family living, cooking, and entertaining.

The original layout felt limited and disconnected, with a load-bearing wall separating the kitchen from the dining area and an exterior balcony reducing the usable interior space. The goal was to create a larger, more functional kitchen with better flow, more natural light, improved storage, and a stronger connection to the backyard.

RISE GC completed a full structural remodel, including engineered wall removal, expansion of the interior footprint, demolition of the existing balcony, and construction of a new exterior entry with direct backyard access. The kitchen was also upgraded with new electrical, plumbing, gas, lighting, drywall, flooring, and finish work.

The final design features warm wood-grain cabinetry, clean modern lines, quartz countertops, a full-height backsplash, a large central island with seating and storage, recessed and under-cabinet lighting, built-in appliances, and a professional-style range with hood.

The result is a spacious, modern kitchen that now feels like the true center of the home — open, functional, inviting, and much better suited for both daily life and entertaining.
